Next week we will be running an exciting series of food and nature related workshops for young people (under 30's) as part of ECO-UNESCO's 'Eco-Week'.

We have an fantastic line up of speakers, facilitators and activists who will explore different aspects of food & nature and how we engage with it.

Tuesday, May 19th

Veghuns Cooking Demo at 1pm: We'll kick off the week with a cooking demo from Instagram's favourite vegans, The Veghuns. Three vegan best friends, will host an all levels cooking demo for some staple vegan meals. This could help you start a plant-based diet, lower your carbon footprint or just show you some delicious substitutes for animal products. Evelyn, Kate and Linda have completely different cooking abilities but all love eating vegan food and want to show you how easy and delicious it is.sign up here. (link below)

The Veggie Debate: Straight after at 2pm, our very own, Triona Reid will meet with Sabrina Dekker, Research Fellowspecialising in Climate Policy,  to discuss 'The Veggie Debate' , exploring the link between food systems, climate change and dietary choices. This talk aims to equip young people with an understanding of where our food comes from, the importance of the cultural connection with food and the ability to critically analyse all sides of the debate  - sign up here.(link below)

Wellbeing Workshop at 12pm: Want to learn how to improve your well-being in these trying times? The fantastic Katheryn Mc Cabe will join us for the last day of ECO-week to talk about your well-being.
