Support a last-ditch bill against polluting LNG - a final opportunity for action by this Government

Step One Select your constituency

On Thursday 7 November a private members bill against LNG from Deputy Neasa Hourigan TD will be debated in the Dáil.

This bill is a final opportunity for the Government and all parties to reject polluting gas infrastructure like Shannon LNG.

Between Shannon LNG’s High Court victory and the Government’s last-minute amendments to the Planning Bill, right now it looks like the Government is only listening to the fossil fuel promoters.

Thankfully Deputy Hourigan’s bill is an opportunity to right the wrongs of the High Court decision and the Government’s recent planning bill.

Will you call on your local politician to use this legislative opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to banning LNG and shaping a path of a climate safe future.

We’ve set out these steps in detail in a prepared message below.
