With guest speaker V'cenza Cirefice

"Gender Justice = Climate Justice" is presented by V'cenza Cirefice and hosted by Friends of the Earth. It explores ecofeminism, climate change as a feminist issue, women on the frontlines, feminist solutions, and examples from around the world.

V’cenza Cirefice is an artist, researcher and activist from Ireland, who explores environmental justice through a feminist lens. She has worked with Young Friends of the Earth Europe, Plan International, The Women’s Earth and Climate Action Network, as well as the climate and feminist movements in Ireland. Currently, she is doing a PhD in NUI Galway on resistance to extractivism in the North of Ireland.

This webinar hosted by Friends of the Earth Ireland on 4th March 2022 is part of the 2022 System Change Webinar series. This series aims to facilitate learners to connect the dots between global justice issues, draw out the root causes of injustice, and reflect on action pathways, while also amplifying the work being done by groups locally and around the world. It is thanks to Irish Aid that we are able to fund this webinar as part of our Global Citizenship Education programme.
