Friends of the Earth wants to be an inclusive workplace with a diverse staff team. We know we have some way to go in this and are therefore genuinely keen to receive applications from Black, Asian and minority ethnic people, disabled people, people who identify as LGBT+.
If you are disabled and need accommodations in the application process, please let us know. We will make use of positive action to select between candidates of equal merit as a way to address under-representation in our workforce.

Here’s a little more about the two roles we’re advertising….

Communications Content Officer

We’re recruiting a Communications Content Officer to carry out communications work for our campaigning and advocacy, movement building and fundraising activities. This is a role for someone with a passion for climate justice, a strong feel for campaign communications and hands-on experience (in a voluntary or professional capacity) of creating engaging communications content across a variety of media, channels and platforms.

Fossil Free Ireland Campaigner

We want Ireland to be free of polluting, expensive fossil fuels as soon as possible. We’re recruiting a Fossil Free Ireland Campaigner to drive our campaigning work on phasing out fossil fuels, including work on LNG, data centres, and the proposed Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty. This is a role for someone with experience of implementing or coordinating public campaigns and a keen interest in social, global and environmental justice issues!

The successful candidate will carry out our policy analysis and advocacy on fossil fuels, as well as designing and implementing supporter, activist, political and media engagement strategies in conjunction with colleagues across the organization.
