Join the Mass Climate Lobby

It was very inspiring to see such an amazing turnout at the National Climate Lobby on 15th November, with Friends of the Earth local groups, and individual Friends of the Earth supporters, in attendance from all corners of Ireland! 

The march was a great start in helping to put climate action back on the political agenda. There’s another great opportunity to bump climate action further up political priority lists in early December. Stop Climate Chaos will be supporting people to meet their TDs to tell them that they care about climate justice during a special Climate Mass Lobby in Buswells Hotel on Wednesday 3rd December.

You don’t need to be a confident speaker or a climate expert to take part in the Climate Lobby. Simply showing up in person, to tell TDs that this issue is important to you, is one of the most powerful things you can do for climate justice. 

We know that TDs prioritise issues that their constituents, who can vote for them, talk to them about. So let’s make it our business to make climate action one of those issues! Simply showing up in person, to say the words “climate justice is important to me” has more impact then you realise!
