We count people from over 70 countries as part of our family who share our values of peace, justice and equality. We work to ensure that everyone, particularly marginalised and disadvantaged groups, are considered and included in policy decisions. We prioritise connecting communities and civic engagement by supporting safe spaces to participate in activism and political change. In response to the recent disorder in Citywest, we share concerns expressed for the safety and welfare of the young child at the centre of this case which should now be duly addressed by relevant authorities. We also share concerns for the safety of people seeking international protection and the communities of Citywest in the face of the unacceptable violence.Now is the time for safety and solidarity and for communities to come together and reject the hate-driven incidents of recent days.
