Joint Briefing Document on the Critical Infrastructure Bill 2026

This briefing document, produced jointly with An Taisce, provides information on the serious implications of the Critical Infrastructure Bill’s disapplication of section 15 of the Climate Action and Low Carbon Development Act 2015 (as amended). It also details the extraordinarily broad and non-safeguarded powers given to the Minister with regard to the designation of projects and programmes as critical infrastructure.
