A big, heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined the National Climate March on Saturday, November 15th!💚The bad weather was no deterrent for thousands from all corners of Ireland, ranging from Letterkenny to Cork, who took to the streets of Dublin to march for climate justice and systems change. We showed up in huge numbers and let the Government know that the climate movement is big, strong and powerful, and that we need action now.We marched, sang and chanted for warmer homes, lower energy bills and better public transport. We marched for peace, justice and a better world—for the Government to prioritise people and communities over the profits of big polluters. Our message to the Government was loud and clear - people and nature before big polluters. We demand Government action on climate that addresses inequality, stands up to big polluters, and improves the wellbeing and living standards of people and communities. The National Climate March in Dublin on Saturday was part of the Global Day of Action, which saw people all over the world taking to the streets to demand urgent action on the climate crisis, against the backdrop of the COP30 negotiations in Belém, Brazil. Let's continue to keep the momentum going for a strong, people-powered climate justice movement! Together, we can be a loud and powerful enough force that the Government has no choice but to listen to us.
