Friends of the Earth's response to the energy regulator's proposed direction related to interruptible gas connections

Friends of the Earth welcomes the opportunity to respond to the CRU’s consultation. While we recognise the objectives of maintaining security of gas supply and supporting the wider energy system, we have significant concerns regarding the evidential basis, analytical approach and climate assessment underpinning the proposed direction. These concerns are summarised below and addressed in our response.
